REVOLUTIONARY KOMSOMOL — AGAINST THE IMPERIALIST REPARTITION OF UKRAINE!
The Revolutionary Komsomol — RKSM (b) believes that the «special operation of the Russian armed forces in Ukraine» is not a goodwill gesture of the Russian government, which suddenly, after eight years of confrontation, «remembered» about the terrible and full of suffering life of the Donetsk and Luhansk republics’ residents, but the culmination of the process of imperialist redistribution on the territory of the LDNR and Ukraine, inspired by the Russian Federation. The current events that run counter to the fundamental interests of the working class of the brotherly peoples of Russia and Ukraine are a direct consequence of the rejection of the socialist path of development and the destruction of the Soviet Union. One of the most significant results of the transformation of the socialist system today is frenzied nationalism and Nazism, which led to a heated clash of fraternal peoples in the name of the interests of big capital. In this confrontation, first of all, young people die – being the main source of the militarist machine. The restoration of capitalism led to the return of the era of the exploitation of man by man and became the cause of imperialist wars on the territory of the former Soviet Union.
The hot conflict in Donbas, inspired in 2014, has been actively supported all this time by the efforts of the Russian, Ukrainian and other bourgeois governments with the participation of the big capital of these states. The confrontation between the peoples was artificially propagated with the active assistance of the NATO and EU countries. To resolve the long-festering conflict on the territory of the Donetsk and Lugansk republics, imperialism did not find and could not find any other way out than a military one — this is the essence of the capitalist system. The imperialist powers justify their desires to seize new product and labor markets or protect the existing ones by «fighting fascism» and «denazification» on the one side, and «saving democracy» and «self-defence» on the other. RKSM(b) universally and consistently condemns the activities of fascist and Nazi formations, including those which operate on the territory of Ukraine. However, the Revolutionary Komsomol also emphasizes that the anti-fascist rhetoric of the Russian side is completely false and hypocritical, behind it lie completely different real interests — the class interests of the largest Russian monopolies. Allegedly fighting fascism outside, the Russian authorities have long been building fascism inside the country: they are deploying decommunization, rewriting history, planting religious obscurantism, extolling apologists for fascism such as the philosopher Ivan Ilyin, taking away elementary labor, social and political rights from the working class, intensifying repression of those who disagree. We continue to condemn Ukraine’s own eight-year-running “special operation” to “pacify” the people of Donbass and condemn the neo-Nazi policy pursued by the state authorities of Ukraine. At the same time, the RKSM(b) urges the communists to consciously approach the understanding of fascism, which in its essence is a product of the capitalist system and becomes a reality when the big monopoly capital of «democratic» states seeks to protect the loot.
The RKSM(b) urges all its supporters to actively and stubbornly explain to the peoples involved in the imperialist conflict the class essence of this military and social crisis, and directly point out those who responsible for this eight-year bloody confrontation. The capitalists of all countries, directly connected with the tragedy in Donbass, did not leave the working people of Russia, Ukraine and Donbass any opportunity to escape the protracted confrontation that does not meet the long-term interests of the peoples. Regardless of the outcome of the «special operation of the Russian armed forces in Ukraine», the working class of both countries in the very near future will face a significant decline in living standards and will be forced every day to cope with numerous social and economic problems. At the same time, struggling trade unionists and communists will face the threat of reprisals, which Mr. Putin explicitly alluded to in his speech about «real decommunization.»
In this difficult and terrible time, we urge all young communists to unite and, for the sake of protecting the fundamental interests of the working class of Russia, Ukraine and Donbass, to become a voice of our people and convey the true essence of military operations carried out on the territory of Donbass.
No to imperialist war! To intensify the class struggle! For socialism!
No to any war other than class war!
